Connecting a Zid store to accounting, e-invoicing, WhatsApp and measurement

The order is in Zid, the invoice in Fatoora, the entry in your accounting software, the message on WhatsApp and the measurement in Google and Meta. We connect them with what Zid and its app market provide, and test a full order cycle before handover.

A store that sells, and books updated by hand

When the store isn't connected, orders are copied into accounting by hand, invoices run late, customers get no confirmation or cart reminder, and you can't tell which ad brought the order. A rushed integration is worse: orders duplicated in accounting, or stock that doesn't match.

  • Orders copied into accounting by hand
  • E-invoicing not connected to the Fatoora platform
  • No confirmation messages and no abandoned-cart reminders

What the integration covers

  • Fatoora

Zid's direct integration with the Fatoora platform, for sending e-invoices to phase-two requirements.

  • Accounting software

Your accounting software connected to the store through its app in the Zid app market or from the software's side, such as Daftra or Qoyod.

  • Zid WhatsApp

Account activation, order-update notifications, abandoned-cart reminders and auto-replies.

  • Measurement and ads

Google Analytics, Tag Manager, the Meta pixel and Conversions API, Snapchat ads and the TikTok pixel.

  • Shipping

Zid's shipping services or custom shipping, with delivery zones and costs as you decide them.

Steps

TimingDepends on scope

  1. Map what you use

Your accounting software, VAT registration status, shipping methods, the ads you run, and what you want sent on WhatsApp.

  2. Written quote

What will be connected and how, any app fees paid to their owners in your name, and the timing and price.

  3. Integration

We activate and configure each integration; you enter what needs your official details, such as the activation code from the Fatoora portal.

  4. A full test order

From order to invoice, accounting entry and WhatsApp message, checking that nothing is duplicated or missing.

What you receive

  • Integrations active and tested with a full order
  • A list of connected apps and their permissions
  • A written explanation of what happens automatically and what stays with you
  • A post-handover fix period set by the contract

Who it's for

  • Zid stores that sell and want to stop copying orders into accounting
  • VAT-registered merchants who need the Fatoora integration
  • Stores that want order and abandoned-cart messages on WhatsApp

When it isn't the right fit

If your accounting software has no Zid integration in the app market or on its own side, a custom integration through Zid's API is a larger project, priced separately after a study.

Before you decide

The Fatoora integration in Zid

The Zid help centre says connecting the store to Fatoora is free and takes two steps: business details (legal name, VAT number, activity, national address and sales channels), then an activation code you generate in the Fatoora portal for one device and paste into Zid. We prepare the details with you; signing in to the Fatoora portal stays with you.

Which accounting software?

Daftra describes its Zid integration as syncing orders, products and customers; Qoyod describes connecting through the FAI Sync app in the Zid app market, which may have its own fees. We don't recommend software before we know what your accountant uses — we connect what you already work with, if it has a Zid integration.

Zid WhatsApp

The Zid help centre has a full section on Zid WhatsApp: account activation and business verification, automatic order-update notifications, automatic and manual abandoned-cart reminders, marketing campaigns and auto-replies. Message templates have types and costs set by WhatsApp; we explain them before activation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Fatoora integration paid on Zid?

According to the Zid help centre, the Fatoora integration is free. What you pay us for is the work: preparing the details, the set-up and the testing, in a written quote.

Do you pay app fees for me?

No. Apps are subscribed in your store's name and paid to their owners directly; the quote lists any published fees before activation.

Do you need access to the Fatoora portal?

No. Generating the activation code in the Fatoora portal stays with you, and we guide you through it step by step.

My software isn't in the Zid app market — what now?

We first check whether the software itself offers a Zid integration. If not, an integration through Zid's API is a separate project; we write its scope and price after a study.
