Start where the click lands
The ad brings the visitor; the page persuades them. A great ad that lands on a slow or cluttered page wastes the budget. Before spending more, make sure visitors quickly find what the ad promised and a clear button to order or message on WhatsApp.
Choose the platform by your audience
Snapchat and TikTok reach a wide audience in Saudi Arabia, Instagram suits visual products and places, and Google reaches people searching for you right now with intent to buy. You don't need every platform at the start; begin with one or two that fit your customers, measure, then expand.
Pixel before spend
The pixel and conversion events tell the platform who bought or messaged you, so it shows your ad to similar people. Without tracking, you measure views, not results. Ask for tracking to be tested before any campaign launches.
The ad account should be in your name
When an ad account is created in the name of whoever runs it, your campaign and audience data leave with them when the arrangement ends. Ask for the accounts and business manager to be in your business's name, with the manager added under access you can revoke.
The budget goes to the platform, not the agency
It is clearest when you pay the ad budget from your own card directly to the platform, with the management fee separate and in writing. That way you see every riyal spent in the account itself.
Give a campaign time before judging it
Platforms need time to learn who responds to your ad, and changing ads, audiences and budgets every day restarts that learning. Agree a test period and one measurable goal, such as messages or orders, then judge on the numbers, not impressions.
