Full ownership comes with responsibility
WooCommerce is a free, open-source plugin for WordPress, and your store with all its files and data lives on your hosting. That's real freedom: no platform changing its terms, no subscription going up. But it also means WordPress and plugin updates, backups and hosting renewal are your responsibility, or that of whoever you contract. Know this before you choose.
Hosting decides how fast the store is
A WooCommerce store is heavier than a company website because it handles products, carts and orders constantly. Very cheap shared hosting, crowded with hundreds of other sites, makes pages slow, and a customer waiting on a phone leaves. Choose hosting sized for your store, ideally with servers close to your customers.
Payments in Saudi Arabia
Saudi customers expect to pay the way they're used to, such as mada cards, Apple Pay and credit cards. Choose a Saudi payment gateway that supports what your customers use and integrates with WooCommerce, open the account with your commercial registration, and prepare your documents early, because activation takes time on the gateway's side.
E-invoicing and VAT
If your business is registered for VAT, review the e-invoicing requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and how they apply to your store's sales. Discuss them with us and your accountant before launch, not after.
Fewer plugins, better store
WordPress has dozens of plugins for every need, and each one is another door to compatibility problems, security issues and slowdowns. A good store runs the fewest trusted plugins possible, and its owner knows what each one does. Ask for a list of installed plugins at hand-over.
