Twilight is the theme engine Salla builds its own themes on, and Salla publishes its base theme, Raed, as open source for developers. So a custom theme runs inside your store with everything Salla offers — cart, payments and apps — not as a separate website.
If your changes are few and specific, a ready-made theme plus CSS costs less. If they change page structure — a different product card, a home page with its own sections, a checkout experience in your brand — a custom theme is cleaner and easier to maintain than dozens of changes on a theme not designed for them.
You receive the theme files and full source code, so you can change it later with us or any other developer, and your store isn't tied to us.
